Defense Army downs Azerbaijani combat UAV hovering over Nagorno Karabakh: PHOTOS

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 8, ARMENPRESS. The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh announced that the Defense Army Air Defense units have downed an Azerbaijani combat UAV on April 7 at 23:00, which was hovering over the skies in Nagorno Karabakh. As “Armenpress” reports, the Defense Army has released photos of the UAV.

Azerbaijan sends a UAV to Stepanakert even when the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Igor Popov (Russia), Pierre Andrieu (France), and James Warlick (USA)) are in Nagorno Karabakh. Nagorno Karabakh President’s Press Secretary Davit Babayan says this is an act of terrorism and stupidity. As “Armenpress” reports, Babayan made a statement via Twitter.

“The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs were meeting the President of Nagorno Karabakh, when Azerbaijan sent a UAV to Stepanakert. Azerbaijan, sending a UAV to Nagorno Karabakh during the Co-chairs’ peacekeeping mission, is an act of terrorism and stupidity”, Babayan stated.
