YEREVAN, MARCH 31, ARMENPRESS. By the end of February 2016 the gross public debt of Armenia has amounted to 5 billion 120 million 427 thousand US dollars (2 trillion 519 billion 454.7 million drams). In comparison with January 2016 the national debt has increased by 33 billion 650.8 million drams. As “Armenpress” reports, this is evidenced by indicators, published on March 31 in the report of the National Statistical Service of Armenia "Socio-economic situation of the Republic of Armenia in January-February 2016".
Foreign debt amounts to 2 trillion 136 billion 497.8 million drams. In particular, Armenia's government debt amounted to 1 trillion 900 billion 403.1 million drams, the Central Bank debt - 236 billion 094.7 million drams.
Domestic debt of Armenia amounts to 382 billion 956.9 million drams, from which 334 billion 044. millionAMD fell on the share of government bonds purchased by residents of Armenia, foreign currency government bonds purchased by Armenian residents - 47 billion 948.3 million drams and domestic insurance - 964.1 million drams.
