YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 29, ARMENPRESS. Armenian National Team’s and “Borussia” Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the 5th among Europe’s top players. As “Armenpress” reports, the list of the best European players was presented by Whoscored.com. After scoring a goal and making an assist against “Hoffenheim”, Mkhitaryan’s average point reached 7.98.
The top five is led by Neymar, 8.52 points. Lionel Messi is in the second place with 8.32 points. Third and fourth places went to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gareth Bale with 8.17 and 8.14 points respectively.
The site also included Mkhitaryan in Bundesliga’s symbolic team in the last week of February. According to the website’s assessment, the Armenian football player’s rating is the highest here - 8.8 points.
