National Assembly receives three applications for the post of Human Rights Defender

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. The Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly has received three applications for the post of Human Rights Defender. “Armenpress” was informed from the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs that National Assembly RPA faction member Hovhannes Sahakyan nominated Arman Tatoyan, independent MP Edmon Marukyan and MP from “Rule of Law” party Hovhannes Margaryan nominated Zaruhi Postanjyan, and Tigran Urikhanyan nominated Narek Aloyan as candidates for Huna Rights Defender.

Arman Tatoyan is the current Deputy Justice Minister.

Zaruhi Postanjyan is amemberof theHeritagePartyboard.

Narek Aloyan is a member of “Alliance” party council and also the chairman of the party’s commission on legal affairs.

February 9 is the deadline for applications for the post of the Human Rights Defender to the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
