Levon Aronian is 4th in FIDE rating

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS. FIDE publishedthe ranking tables according to February 1. Member of the Armenian chess national team Levon Aronian is again the 4th on FIDE rating table, “Armenpress” reports.

Norwegian chess player Magnus Carlsen (2844) is leading the list of the world strongest 100 chess players. Gabriel Sargissian (2702), Vladimir Akopian (2656) and Sergei Movsesian (2653) are also included in the list.

Chinese Hou Yifan (2673) is the 1st in the list of the world strongest 100 women chess players. Among our chess players Elina Danielian (2445) is the 43rd, Lilit Mkrtchian (2434) is the 48th.

Armenia is the 7th by team ranking.
