Sergey Khachatryan to perform in 7th Armenian Composers' Art Festival

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. World known violinist Sergey Khachatryan will perform with the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia (SYOA). Artistic director and principal conductor of SYOA Sergey Smbatyan said the aforementioned to journalists on December 25.

“We will give a concert with Sergey Khachatryan on January 15. The 7th Armenian Composers' Art Festival is one of the most professional-format festivals. That is the first concert of the festival. Sergey Khachatryan is one of our best musicians, we are looking forward to his visit,” “Armenpress” reports, Smbatyan said.

The 7th Armenian Composers' Art Festival is held under the auspices of Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan.

World-known violinist Sergey Khachatryan lives in Germany. He started playing the violin at the age of 6. Khachatryan usually gives 1-2 concerts in Armenia. He is the winner of theCredit Suisse Young Artist Award.
