Organization of events in memory of Armenian Genocide was everyone’s spirit’s duty: Taron Margaryan

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. The final session of the Coordination Committee on organizational works of the events in memory of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide was held in Yerevan city by the head of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.

As “Armenpress” was informed fromthe Information and Public Relations department of Yerevan Municipality, Deputy Mayorof YerevanAram Sukiasyan reported that all the programs and cultural events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Genocide which were planned in the capital during 2015, were fully implemented.

Expressing gratitude to all the members of the Coordination Committee of organizational works for cooperative work, Mayor Taron Margaryan emphasized that it was efficient and cooperated.

“I am convinced that organizing the events in memory of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was everyone’s soul’s duty which was implemented by great responsibility. Still, there are things that need to be fulfilled before April 24, 2016 and I am convinced that they will be also realized with the same spirit and dedication,” the mayor emphasized.

A group of members of the Committee were awarded by the Yerevan Mayor for their initiated responsibility and obligations in the events of 100th Aniverary of the Armenian Genocide.
