Demirtaş to Turkish authorities: You can only clean the canalization of this land

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Selahattin Demirtas,co-chairmanof thepro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party(HDP), has strictly condemned the activities of Turkish authorities taken in Kurdish populated regions. As “Armenpress” reports, citing “Haberler” news agency, Demirtaş talked about this in a press conference.

He accused the Turkish Police in burning Kursunlu Mosque. Referring to the statement issued by governmental bodies, considering the military operations of Turkey in Kurdish populated regions as a “great clean-up operation”, Demirtaş said, “Who are you? Who do you sweep away? You can only clean the canalization of this land, nothing more”.

Demirtaş also accused President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu in scolding Russia for 1-2 days and afterwards sharply calming down.
