YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia informs that on December 9, the USD exchange rate was 484.79 AMD which is an increase of 0.19 drams compared to the previous day.

“Armenpress” reports that the euro went up by 3.85 drams forming 529.88 drams. British pound increased by 2.42 drams forming 729.95 drams and the Russian ruble underwent no changes - 7.00 AMD.

The prices for precious metals are as follows: the price for gold per gram is 16 thousand 710.14 AMD, silver- 221.95 AMD, and platinum – 13 thousand 279.58 AMD.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia OJSC made sale and purchase deals of $1 million and 100 thousand at an average exchange rate of 485.65 drams for one dollar on December 9. “Armenpress” reports that the demand for USD was 485.75 AMD. One swap deal with 7 day period was made at Republic of Armenia stock exchange on December 9, 2 were completed. Today’s swap deal amounted to 969 million 200,000.00 AMD, reverse swap - 971 million 105,200.00 AMD.

The profitability of the deal was estimated as 10.25%.
