Men’s national chess team of Armenia draws at European Team Championship

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Men’s national chess team of Armenia drew with Englands’ team in thefourth round of the European Team Championship.

“Armenpress” reports that current champion of Armenia Karen Grigoryan, who played in the team for the first time, unfortunately lost. Levon Aronian was not lucky either and lost in the 4th round of the championship. Only thanks to Hrant Melkumyan’s and GabrielSargissian’s victories the Armenian team managed to finish the round with 2-2.

After the fourth round, the Armenian team is in the 10th place of the championship. Russian team leads in the championship.
