Tumo Center for Creative Technologies to be opened in Javakhk

EREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. “Tum” Center for Creative Technologieswill soon be opened in Javakhk as well. As “Armenpress” reports, citingjnews.ge, Director General of the centre MarieLouPapazianinformed about this during the first reporting session of “Support to Javakhk” Fund.
Children of Javakhk from the age from 12 to 18 will have an opportunity to take extracurricular education in a new atmosphere and expose their creative potentials. Priority issue for opening “Tumo” center is the selection of an appropriate building. The center will be based in Akhalkalaki.
“The two buildings that we had planned for the centre are in very bad conditions, and much work is necessary to restore them. Nearly 2 years are required to reconstruct them and equip with necessary accommodations”, Director General of “Tumo” centre MarieLouPapazianinformed about this during the first reporting session of “Support to Javakhk” Fund.
According to her, all conveniences will be created so as not only children from Akhalkalaki but also those from other regions manage to attend it. Their transportation and other conveniences will be provided by the centre.
“Tumo” Center for Creative Technologieswas established 4 years ago. Its goal is to provide teenagers with such education which cannot be acquired at schools and give them an opportunity to discover their own hidden talents. To realize this idea, “Tumo” centre has been established in Yerevan, Gyumri, Dilijan and Stepanakert. Javakhk is the next.
