YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. West's attitude and stance on Turkey permanently changes and Turkey, that some time ago played the role of security guarantor of the region has turned into an epicenter of instability and terrorism. President of the ''European integration'' NGO, National Assembly deputy Karen Bekaryan states that the situation in Turkey, which is always in some type of trouble, is now in a worse situation and the troubles have doubled. Bekaryan told ''Armenpress'' that domestic issues escalate the situation in Turkey further. ''There are quite a lot of problems that are different in nature and number compared to previous ones. It's now impossible to find someone in the West who can speak and tell legends about Turkish democracy. Much is clear already. Analysis and surveys show that Erdoğan will not have his desired results in November 1 elections and that assumes prolongation of the crisis in the country with all its consequences'', Bekaryan said, adding that the Kurdish issue is rather tense now and that we understand very well what is happening in Turkey, as we have felt it ourselves.
According to Bekaryan, Turkey is no longer perceived by the West as an ally and stability guarantor, considering as well the factor of Iran with normalizing relation with the West. In such a situation we have a very unstable neighbor with its domestic and foreign problems. Bekaryan emphasizes that we must be cautious, as the developments are just next to us.
