Putin congratulates Union of Armenians of Russia on 15th anniversary

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12. ARMENPRESS. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Union of Armenians of Russia on the 15th anniversary of its creation noting that it contributed to the strengthening of friendly relations between Russia and Armenia.

“Over years Union of Armenians of Russia has grown into a prestigious organization that represents the biggest community in the world with over 3 million people. You have substantial contribution to the harmonization of inter-ethnic relations in our country, do demanded work in the spheres of culture, enlightenment and education directed at the realization of significant projects and initiatives for the society,” “Armenpress” reports, the telegram released on Kremlin website reads.

Putin also notes in the telagram that such a big organization performing multilateral activities is worthy of esteem. He is convinced that the Union will continue its further participation in the life of the state and society contributing to the successful development and increasing of the international prestige of Russia.
