Concert dedicated to Genocide centennial held in Greece

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. National Chamber Choir of Armenia gave a concert at Athens Megaro Mousikis concert hall on October 4 which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia the concert was realized under the auspices of Greece Commission coordinating Genocide Centennial events, by the Armenian Embassy and Athens concert hall and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia.

The choir, led by Merited Artist of the Republic of Armenia, artistic director Robert Mlkeyan, performed works of Komitas, Halajyan, Schnittke, Barber as well as unique performances of Armenian folk songs.
