YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met on September 27 with OSCE Chairman in Office, First Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dačić.
As “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia during the meeting issues referring to the expansion of Armenia-Serbia relations and the priorities of Serbia during its presidency over the OSCE, OSCE agenda issues were discussed.
Edward Nalbandian and Ivica Dačić noted with great satisfaction that the bilateral relations between the countries developed steadily. In this regard, opening of Embassies in Yerevan and Belgrade, visa liberalization regime, issues of establishingdirect flights were touched upon. The Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement issue and the OSCE Chairmanshipsupport to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs efforts were also discussed during the meeting.
OSCE Chairman in Office expressed his deep concerns on the increasing tension in the conflict zone and attached importance to the full preservation of ceasefire regime.
Minister Nalbandian also noted that in spite of the numerous appeals on the part of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Baku did not give up its unconstructive political stance and provocations.
