5 policemen die in Hakkari and Mardin due to PKK attack

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. Three police officers were killed and one was injured when the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) which is considered a terrorist group in Turkey, detonated explosives in Mardin. “Armenpress” reports, referring to Anadolu news agency that in Hakkari 2 policemen died and 2 were injured again as a result of a vehicle explosion.
The injured police officers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The security forces launched a large-scale operation in the area to capture the terrorists who fled the scene following the attack.
