Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra to have concerts dedicated to Armenian Genocide in 3 countries

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra will have tours dedicated to the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Poland, Germany and Italy.

Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the ANPO Eduard Topchjan told “Armenpress” that the tours will be full of responsibility for the musicians.

“We will leave for Poland to have 2 concerts November 27-29. We will have 3 concerts in Italy November 30 till December 1 and 3 concerts in Germany December 2-3. All the concerts will be held in prestigious, big halls. We have great organizers.”, noted Eduard Topchjan. Maestro added that all the expenses are covered by the Armenian part.

The orchestra which marked its 90th anniversary has already managed to perform in many countries with concerts dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The tours in Mexico and USA which were held this year in May, received special response with the public.
