New army training phase launched in Defense Army

YEREVAN, AUGUST 18, ARMENPRESS. On August 18 the second half of the current army year was launched. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the NKR Defense Ministry, solemn ceremonies took place in all military units on that occasion during which the main achievements and gaps of the previous training phase were touched upon, and the main problems that have to be solved during the summer training phase were indicated.

The NKR Defense Minister, Commander of the Defense Army, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnacakanyan, attended the ceremony of the new training phase in one of the units located on the northeastern direction. The Defense Minister, congratulating the personnel, spoke about the current and possible developments in the region, continuous tension on the border, mentioning that all the challenges can be successfully repelled only by well-prepared units.
