YEREVAN, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS.European Men’s BoxingChampionship2015 started in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The Armenian national team also participates in the championship.
Armenpress reports the latter, referring to the Boxing Federation. 64 kg Hovhannes Bachkov, defeated ArturAhmetov, representing Latvia, in the first day of the championship. Unfortunately, 91 kg Henrik Sargsyan and heavyweight Rafael Simonyan dropped out of further struggle, as they were not able to overcome the 1st round.
69 kg Armenian boxer Vladimir Margaryan and 75 kg Arman Hovikyan will compete on August 8.
