USA imposes targeted sanctions against “Gazprom”

WASHINGTON, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS. The USA imposed new sanctions against Russian “Gazprom”. This is mentioned in the document released by the US federal registry. Gazeta.ru reports that the USA imposes sanctions against a non legal entity for the first time. In this case the sanctions are directed at concretely the Yuzhno-Kirinskoye gasandcondensatefield.

“Armenpress” reports that any American production and firstly high-tech equipments are banned from being distributed to the field in line with the sanction.

In addition, the equipments that are already bought cannot be delivered to the Yuzhno-Kirinskoye gasandcondensatefield. Thus, constrains refer not only to “Gazprom” but all other companies to which American equipments can be transferred.
