Syrian Army advances in Zabadani city together with “Hezbollah”

YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. The Syrian army has made fresh gains in the struggle against terrorists in Zabadani city as a result of cooperation with Lebanese “Hezbollah”. “Armenpress” reports, citing Syrian “SANA” agency that a number of buildings have been liberated by joint efforts. According to information from military sources, a number of buildings have been liberated in the Jamiyat district of the western suburb of the city and hideouts of the terrorists have been destroyed. During the military operations dozens of members of “Jabhat al-Nusra” organization have been killed.

The Syrian army launched large scale military operations in the city of Zabadani together with “Hezbollah” for nearly a month, inflicting heavy losses on them.

This is already four years the Syrian army is engaged in a permanent struggle against dozens of armed organizations trying to restore security and stability in the country. According to the UN data the casualties of the conflict is over 220 thousand.
