 PKK kills 50 Turkish gendarmes

YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. 50 policemen were killed by The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) attack at Karabulak Gendarmerienear Dogubayezitof Turkey.

Armenpress informs the aforementioned citing Kurdish ANFturkce.net.

It is noted that the attack was made by a PKK gunmen who crashed with a car loaded with 5 tons of explosives into the gendarmeriebuilding. As a result, 50 Turkish military men were killed.

PKK announced that it was a counterattack to the Turkish Air Force’s strike against Zergele village inhabited by the Kurds.

The Turkish media, referring to government officials, informs that only 2 military men were killed due to the attack. Presently Turkey forbids any information release referring different explosions occurring in the country.
