Foreign currencies fall except pound

YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. According to the exchange rates announced by the Central Bankof the Republic of Armenia, on August 3 the USD dropped by 0.29 AMD, fixing at 478.00 AMD. TheEuro dropped by 0.55 AMD, fixing at 524.37 AMD. As “Armenpress” was informed from theDepartment of Media and Public Relations of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia therubble rate went down by 0.27 AMD, fixing at 7.65 AMD. The British pound rose by 0.79 AMD, fixing at 745.20 AMD.

Based on the prices set for the precious metals, the price for one gram of gold made 16thousand and 880.27 AMD, the price for one gram of silver made 223.76 AMD and the price for onegram of platinum made up 15 thousand and 45.33 AMD.
