About 20 civilians die as a result of shelling in Aleppo

YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. Nearly 20 people die as a result of shelling in the old city of Aleppo. As “Armenpress” reports, citing Arabic media, Syrian activists inform about 10s of injured. The rockets feel in Shaab district. More than 30 buildings have collapsed. Dozens of people remain under their ruins.

Clashes continued for more than 8 hours between defense units of Syria and “al-Nusra” front in the vicinity of Faua and Kafra towns. Most of the dwellers of the towns are Shiites.

On the other hand, Syrian jets have conducted air attacks in the districts of Jisr Shughurlocated in the West of Idlib which resulted in deaths and injuries.

This is the fourth year the Syrian Army struggles against 10s of armed groups trying to restore stability and security in the country.
