More than 5 thousand families dissolve within 5 months in Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, JULY 10, ARMENPRESS. Within 5 months of the current year more than 5 thousand families dissolved in Azerbaijan.

As reports “Armenpress”, this was informed by the websitemoderator.azciting the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

Moderator.az website informs that 30.000 artificial interruption of pregnancy were registered during the last one year.

The Commission of Elimination of Discrimination against Women of the UN has mentioned that Azerbaijan has the highest rate of such events in the Central Asia. The Representative of Azerbaijan has mentioned that in 2012 two hundred thousand artificial interruptions of pregnancy were registered in Azerbaijan.
