EAEU, BRICS and SCO leaders meeting started

UFA, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS. The collegial session of the leaders of the member states of Eurasian Economic Union, BRICS and theShanghai CooperationOrganisation is launched in Ufa. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is also present at the session.

As informs “Armenpress”, citing TASS, the session will be the final stage of the BRICS summit. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has met all the participants of the meeting as a leader of host country. He welcomed the arriving presidents and prime-ministers.

Before starting the meeting, the leaders took a group photo.

Rusia, India, China and Brazil are included in the BRICS. TheShanghai Cooperation Organization unites Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, India, Iran, Moldova and Pakistan have the status of observer in the organization; Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka are considered as partners.

The member states of the EAEU are Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
