Armenia’s President ready to receive group of protestors

YEREVAN, JUNE 22, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is ready to receive the participants of the rally against the increase of electricity price. “Armenpress” reporter informs that the Deputy Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia Valery Osipyan conveyed the words of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan and stated: “The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is ready to receive 3-4 participants of the “No to Plunder” initiative’s protest action, on condition that the participants of the protest march will return to the Freedom Square.”

Notwithstanding, the participants of the protest action turn down the suggestion and march to the Baghramyan avenue. The Chief of Yerevan’s Police, Major-general Ashot Karapetyan introduced the same suggestion to the protesters in the Baghramyan avenue.
