YEREVAN, JUNE 16, ARMENPRESS. The PACE Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights recommended former Human Rights Defender Armen Harutyunyan’s candidacy for the position of judge from Armenia in the European Court of Human Rights
As Armenpress was informed from the official website of PACE, Harutyunyan won receiving slightly more votes than Lianna Hakobyan - judge of the Administrative court. The process of the election of the Armenian candidates for the position of judge in the European Court of Human Rights was realized in accordance with the international standards of justice.
