Armenian sisters dead in Tbilisi flood were 22 and 24 years old

YEREVAN, JUNE 15, ARMENPRESS. Two Armenian sisters died from the Tbilisi flood. The Eghiazaryan sisters were 22 and 24 years old. As Armenpress was informed by the Georgian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the corpses of the sisters have been found. “The corpses will be taken to the Holy Etchmiadzin church of Tbilisi where the requiem service will take place,” informed the press service of the diocese.
The sisters lived in the Svaneti Street where the flood took place. The mudwater filled their home and the sisters were unable to go out. The street is mainly Armenian-populated. According to non-official information, two-three more Armenians are missing. Cleaning works are being realized at this moment in order to find the missing whose total number is 24.
