Turkish authorities share the burden of Genocide with Talaat, Enver and Kemal. Vice-President of National Assembly

YEREVAN, JUNE 9, ARMENPRESS. On the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the representatives of the Armenian parliament could not help taking part in the struggle against the crimes against humanity, including the Genocide and policy of denial. The Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov mentioned this in the National Assembly. As Armenpress reports Sharmazanov highlighted: “The parliament of the Republic of Armenia accepted a historic announcement on March 24, condemning the genocide of the Greeks and Assyrians. It was thus reaffirmed that we are the torch-bearers of just condemnation of not only Armenian but all the genocides.”

He said that the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia pursued the goal of forming the international platform “Members of the parliament against the genocide” which aims to struggle for the condemnation of genocides and against their denial by consolidating the potential of the parliamentarians of different countries. The Vice-President added, “Moreover, exhibits dedicated to the Armenian Genocide were introduced in different European countries by the efforts of the members of the parliament of Armenia.”

According to Sharmazanov, the current authorities of Turkeyshare the burden of the Genocide with Talaat, Enver and Kemal by denying both the Armenian Genocide and the genocides of other Christian nations.
