Conference devoted to Centennial of Armenian Genocide held in Sao Paulo

YEREVAN, 13 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On 6-7 May, a conference devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was held at the "Makenzi" Presbyterian University of Sao Paulo-Brazil, during which the issues related to the events of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide were discussed.
As "Armenpress" was informed by the Press, Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Ambassador of Armenia to Brazil Ashot Galoyan delivered a speech and attached importance to the activities of the Conference, underlining that the represented reports, subsequent questions and speeches expressed their support and condemned the denial of the Armenian Genocide.
On 8 May, Cardinal Dom Pedro Shereri Odilio celebrated a Devine Liturgy devoted to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide at Sao Paulo's Cathedral. The primates of the Armenian Church, representatives of the Armenian and Jewish communities, senior officials, state deputies, heads of the diplomatic representations attended the ceremony.
