Luxemburg’s Ambassador to Turkey spoke about Armenian Genocide recognizing resolution

YEREVAN, MAY 9, ARMENPRESS: The Ambassador of Luxemburg to Turkey Arlette Conzemius touched upon the fact of adoption of the Armenian Genocide recognizing resolution by her country’s Parliament. Armenpress reports, citing the Turkish Yeni Safak that the Ambassador stated about it at the symposium held at the Atatürk University.
Conzemius stressed that the parliamentarians in her country are free and have the right to freely express their rights. The Ambassador emphasized that the decision of the Luxemburg’s Parliament is not directed to anyone particular:“The message, which our parliament wanted to send, is that one should overcome the problems of the past and closing them, provide for cooperation. We have reached a peace with our two great enemies – France and Germany. The messages, sent by many European parliaments, are mainly as follows: we do not aim at judging, shaming or accusing anybody. In fact, we, having studied the past, want to build the future”, - said Arlette Conzemius.
