YEREVAN, 6 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The national demand of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide claims a strategic and tactical new approach. His Holiness Aram I stated this in the interview with the "Hasg" official periodical of the Catholicosate of Cilicia, speaking about the filing a lawsuit to Turkey's Constitutional Court by the Great House of Cilicia for the return of Catholicosate of Cilicia.
His Holiness Aram I particularly stated. “In case of any country, the procedural structure includes the appellate and cassation instances. Some countries also have a constitutional court. Naturally, each court has its own limits of the competence and activities. Taking into consideration that the Municipality of Cilicia refused the demand of the simple document on ownership, the lawyers considered it useless to appeal to the local court and the claim is submitted directly to the Constitutional Court. In case of refusal by the latters, we should appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. Our all judicial documents were prepared by this perspective".
