Armenia’s President to attend Genocide centenary commemoration in USA

YEREVAN, 4 MAY, ARMENPRESS: The events, devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, will continue with a great intensity. The commemoration events, held in different parts of the world after April 24, are the proofs of it. Vigen Sargsyan, the coordinator of the Armenian Genocide centennial events, stated about it during the meeting with the journalists. He especially stressed the joint exhibition, open in Paris with the cooperation of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and the Paris Municipality.

“As you know the delegation, headed by the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, will leave tomorrow for the United States of America, where the Armenian Genocide centennial commemoration ceremonies continue. Ecumenical liturgy will be held at the Washington’s Cathedral with the participation of the Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians Karekin II and the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I”, - said Sargsyan, Armenpress reports.
