WASHINGTON, 2 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The enlargement of U.S. economic and military assistance to Armenia is in the interests of both countries. This is what U.S. Congressman, member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Adam Schiff said in an interview with Voice of America, as “Armenpress” reports.
“US-Armenia relations can develop in several directions. We can also continue to carry out the previous programs such as the programs of the Millennium Challenges Corporation and the U.S. programs for foreign assistance and demining. We also shouldn’t let Azerbaijan be calm and shouldn’t let Azerbaijan make provocations at the Line of Contact,”Schiff said.
“What I would like the most is to see Armenia become the Silicon Valley of the Caucasus and attract the entire intellectual potential since it’s impossible to block intellectual potential. So, the field of high technologies is very perspective for Armenia,”the Congressman said.
