Members of Knesset to attend Armenian Genocide commemoration

TEL AVIV, 14 APRIL, ARMENPRESS: A delegation from the Knesset is to travel to Armenia to participate in its official ceremonies, scheduled for April 24, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 1915 genocide. Thetrip does not signal a change in Israel’s policy of not officially recognizing the massacres as genocide. Armenpress reports about it, citing the Jerusalem post.

By now Israel has not recognized the mass killings as genocide. Yet it is unknown who will be included in the delegation.
