WASHINGTON, 13 APRIL, ARMENPRESS.U.S. Congressman Brad Shermanhas commendedPope Francisfor his recognition of the Armenian Genocide. As “Armenpress” reports, the Congressman wrote the following on his Facebook page as he touched upon the April 12 Holy Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica of the Vatican and the Pope’s announcement:
“I commend Pope Francis @Pontifex for his recognition of the Armenian genocide which occurred a century ago.”
