Rhode Island’s Hillel University to mark Armenian Genocide centennial

YEREVAN, APRIL 8, ARMENPRESS: URI Hillel will commemorate the Holocaust and the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide with a special presentation Friday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. Armenpress reports, citing the Providence Journal that the event, at the Norman M. Fain Hillel Center, 6 Fraternity Circle, Kingstown, R.I., will feature guest speakers Dr. Albert Silverstein, an Austrian born Holocaust survivor, and the co-chairs of the Rhode Island branch of The Genocide Education Project, Pauline Getzoyan and Esther Kalajian.

The hour-long event is open to the public and will be followed by dinner. Students dine for free; the dinner is $15 for non-students. Reservations are required. Guests may attend the presentation without staying for dinner at no charge, however, due to space limitations, RSVPs are requested.
