Uruguayan House of Representatives to discuss Armenian Genocide

MONTEVIDEO, APRIL 8, ARMENPRESS: Political, cultural and religious events, commemorating the innocent victims and condemning the Armenian Genocide and the crimes against the humanity, will be held on the 100thanniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Uruguay.

The Uruguayan Committee, coordinating the Armenian Genocide centenary events, informed Armenpress that on April 15 a special session will be held at the House of Representatives of Uruguay to discuss the Armenian Genocide and the necessity to prevent the crimes against the humanity.

Uruguay is the first country in the world to recognize and condemn the Armenian Genocide.
