Clergy come together to bring Armenians’ demand to end

YEREVAN, 7 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. The conference titled "The mission of the Armenian clergy of the Middle East in the years of Genocide” is launched at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The event is held by the initiative of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia and the Oriental Studies Institute of the National Academy of Sciences. The conference has gathered under one roof the representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, the Armenian Catholic Church and Armenian Missionary Association.

The Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan expressed her happiness and pride in the opening speech that the clergies of all the directions of the Armenian Churches have gathered in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.“100 years ago our spiritual ancestors have come together to resist the danger that our nation faced. Today as well, our fathers have gathered to advance the Armenian cause and bring the demand of the Armenians to the end”,- the Minister stated, Armenpress reports.
