YEREVAN, MARCH 18, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Genocide issue is in the historical memory of the Armenian People. Each Armenian family has a story: the history of genocide refers to everyone and that’s why it is actual for each of us. The Head of the Armenian President’s Staff Vigen Sargsyan stated this in his speech delivered at the course of international media conference titled “At the Foothills of Mount Ararat”
As reports “Armenpress”, Vigen Sargsyan highlighted that even today, after 100 years, Turkey keeps denying the Armenian Genocide and Genocide hasn’t end, as long as it is not recognized and condemned.
“An international struggle must be conducted against genocide, crime against humanity. We speak about Genocide not, because it pleases us, but to help the international community, as a nation, which survived genocide, to remain focused on the issue,” Vigen Sargsyan concluded.
Among other things, Vigen Sargsyan noted that this is a warning that the Genocide must be condemned.
