Book "Coverage of the Armenian Genocide on the Front Pages of International Newspapers" to be presented in Los Angeles

YEREVAN, 11 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. The photos in the book “Coverage of the Armenian Genocide on the Front Pages of International Newspapers” will be presented at an exhibition to be held by the AGBU Knights of Vartan at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles on 8-10 April, as reported on the official website of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, as “Armenpress” reports. The three-day exhibition and the series of lectures entitled “What the World Witnessed A Century Ago” serve as a unique opportunity to bring all Armenians together, and not only Armenians. All events will be free-of-charge.

The exhibition will begin with opening remarks by President of AGBU Knights of Vartan, Dr. Harout Yaghsezian and Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Dr. Hayk Demoyan.

The 260-page book includes photos, sketches and illustrations published in several international newspapers between the late 19thcentury and early 20thcentury. The descriptions of the photos are mainly in Armenian and English. The book was released in Yerevan in 2014.
