Medical assistance provided to Armenian Genocide survivors

YEREVAN, MARCH 11, ARMENPRESS. At the course of the consultation held with the participation of the members of the board under the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, a decision was made to form a committee on supporting the eyewitness-survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 living in the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the issues of medical assistance and services. The group of doctors led by the Chairman of the Committee Gagik Mirijanyan paid a visit to the eyewitness-survivors of the Armenian Genocide residing in capital Yerevan on March 10.
As reports “Armenpress” citing the website of the Ministry of healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, the necessary medical examinations were carried out. The eyewitness-survivors of the Armenian Genocide will have medical passports based on the results of the examination. Those eyewitness-survivors, who need medical assistance, can visit St. Gregory the Illuminator medical centre in Yerevan, while those residing in the provinces will be under the constant control of the regional medical centers.
