YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 17, ARMENPRESS: After the publication of the article about the story of the Armenian Genocide-survived Kim Kardashian’s family by the British Daily Mail, a serious mess started around the name of the Armenian star in Kars’ Karakale Village, which is the native village of the celebrity. Armenpress reports, citing the Turkish Ohaber.com that the majority of the Karakale residents are excited by the fact of “being Kardashian’s co-villagers”.

Karakale people showed the journalists, who visited the village, having about 500 residents, the half-destroyed Armenian houses, which, according to them, could belong to the Kardashian’s family. One of those houses now serves as a primary school. Now a part of the residents of the village, which has preserved the Armenian trace, started stating that the primary school should be named after Kardashian, though the other part of the villagers are against that idea, taking into account the scandals, connected with the celebrity.
