Armenia and Czech Republic to continue cooperation for consistent management of hazardous substances

YEREVAN, 9 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. On February 9, Minister of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia Aramayis Grigoryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Petr Mikyska. As the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, praising the positive experience in cooperation and accepting as a basis the joint declaration signed between the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic, the sides discussed future plans and programs.

Ambassador Mikyska proposed to continue cooperation in consistent management of hazardous substances and hazardous wastes, particularly within the framework of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme and expressed willingness to provide technical and professional assistance for the solution to the issue of elimination of expired pesticides.
