Two victims of gas station explosion in Aygevan in critical condition

Three individuals have been hospitalized following an explosion at a gas station near the village of Aygavan in Ararat Province on March 4.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, two of them are in critical condition and are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.

The third individual is in serious condition and is currently undergoing further medical examination.

The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reported that on March 4, at 16:39, an emergency call was received at the Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center regarding an explosion at a gas station near Aygavan.

Four firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary data suggest that a liquefied gas cylinder with an estimated capacity of 25 tons exploded.
