Opponent committed 1,200 ceasefire violations this week

STEPANAKERT, 7 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Based on operative data of the Defense Army of Artsakh, in the period between 1 and 7 February, the opponent committed nearly 1,200 ceasefire violations at the Line of Contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijan forces, firing more than 1,700 shots towards Armenian military positions with rifles of different diameters.

As the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic reports to “Armenpress”, the frontline military units of the Defense Army responded to the opponent’s attacks and continue the on-duty service with confidence along the entire Line of Contact.

During the week, the DA frontline subdivisions also took punitive actions, making the opponent suffer casualties and material losses.
