Armenia has to show the world Turkey's real purposes: expert

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 5, ARMENPRESS: The world understands quite well the approach and political counting of Turkey in the issue related to the Armenian Genocide, though the Turkish Studies expert Levon Hovsepyan sees the necessity of additional efforts to reveal the real political purposes of that country. A bright example for that is the move of the anniversary day of the Battle of Gallipoli on April 24.

“It is very important that Armenia, with its messages, diplomatic and media efforts, shows the world the real purposes of Turkey to limit and reduce the importance of the Armenian Genocide centenary before the world society”, - said the Turkish Studies expert Levon Hovsepyan at the press conference, held on February 5.
