Armenia's Ministry of Finance confirms arrest of former MP

YEREVAN, 2 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia confirms news about the arrest of former Member of Parliament Hakob Hakobyan.

As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, Hakob Hakobyan was arrested on 2 February 2015 as part of criminal case N 83152012 examined as part of the investigative proceedings of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and is suspected of committing publicly dangerous acts provided for by point 1 of part 3 of Article 188, part 2 of Article 188, part 1 of Articles 38-205, point 1 of part 3 of Articles 38-188, point 1 of part 3 of Article 188, part 1 of Articles 38-205 and part 2 of Articles 38-205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The preliminary investigation continues.
