Spain’s Burjassot city council officially recognizes Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. The city council of Spain’s Burjassot city has adopted the motion introduced by Compromis party, by which the city council has officially recognized the Armenian Genocide and condemned the crimes against humanity committed during that period. Compromis and EU parties voted in favor of the motion, while PSPV-PSOE and PP parties abstained from voting. The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” about this.
